SHOGUNexecution platform
Private beta

How getting Shogun works.

Shogun is not on general sale yet. Places go out one at a time, because every tester so far has found something — and we would rather fix it for ten people than for a thousand.

What happens

Four steps, and two of them are ours.

STEP 1

You ask for a place

Tell us what you trade, which firm your accounts are with, and whether you already have a TradingView strategy firing alerts. That last one matters — Shogun executes your alerts, it does not produce them.

If Shogun is the wrong fit we will say so rather than sell it to you.

STEP 2

We issue your licence key

The moment your payment goes through, you land on a page that shows your licence key. Save it there and then. We store it only as a hash, so that page is the one and only time it can be shown to you — a password manager is the right home for it. If you lose it, tell us and we issue a new one; the old one stops working at that moment.

The file is harmless without a key, so the download is a plain link. Machine slots are freed by us, not self-serve — a Windows reinstall or a new motherboard reads as a new machine, so message us and we will release the old one.

STEP 3

You install and activate

Unpack it to a local folder, run Shogun.exe, paste your key on the Licence tab, and press Activate. That binds this machine and mints your hosted webhook address in the same step.

Windows will warn you about an unsigned app — that is expected, and the docs explain it, with a checksum so you can verify the file instead of trusting us.

STEP 4

You wire one alert and prove it arrives

Copy your webhook URL and alert secret into a TradingView alert, fire it once, and watch the delivery counter move on Shogun's health screen. Until you have seen one arrive, assume it is not working — this path fails silently when it fails.

Walked end to end in the setup guide. About twenty minutes, no code.

Shogun licence
Pricing TBC
  • Activates on one machine — add another for a smaller monthly fee
  • Hosted webhook endpoint included — no tunnel, no router, nothing exposed
  • No cap on how many of your own alerts it executes, or how many accounts you route them to
  • New builds for as long as your licence is active
  • No trading strategies or signals. You bring your own.

A second machine is for a desktop and a laptop, not two copies running at once — both would poll the same feed and each would place the trade. Shogun does not update itself: when there is a new build we send it to you.

Beta · not yet charging

Pricing is being finalised and will be published here before anyone is charged. Nobody is billed during the beta.

Before you ask for a place

What you need to already have.

None of these are things we can supply, and all four have to be true or Shogun has nothing to execute.

  • A Windows PC that can stay running during your session, with Edge or Chrome installed
  • An account on Rithmic (R|Trader Pro web — Bulenox, Apex) or TopstepX. Those are the two platforms Shogun drives; ask if yours is elsewhere
  • A TradingView strategy of your own that fires alerts
  • An evaluation or practice account to start on
The part most software is vague about

What happens if you stop paying.

You can always close a position

The licence check can only ever refuse an order that positively opens risk. Exits, partial scale-outs, and anything Shogun cannot classify are allowed — the tie is broken in your favour on purpose. Panic Close sits outside the check entirely and works on an expired, revoked or never-activated copy.

Nothing cuts off mid-session either. Your entitlement is signed and cached on your machine, and Shogun reads that rather than calling us when an order is placed — so an outage on our side cannot lock a paying customer out, and a failed payment only bites when the cached entitlement expires on its own, up to 14 days later.

What a lapse does stop is the feed — exits included

While a subscription is lapsed our server hands your Shogun no new signals, and that is every signal, not just entries. Your strategy's exit alert will not arrive.

You are not stuck: Panic Close still works, and so does your broker's own platform. But close it yourself or renew — do not sit waiting for an exit that is not coming. We would rather tell you this on the pricing page than have you find it out.

Shogun is not a broker and does not hold your money. Your accounts stay entirely yours; cancelling ends the software licence and nothing else.

Read this properly

What can go wrong, and where the responsibility sits.

We would rather say this plainly before you buy than have you find it out on a funded account.

This is software, and software fails

Shogun can miss an alert, act on one late, place an order you did not expect, or stop running without telling you. It depends on TradingView, on your internet, on your PC staying awake, on your broker's platform, and on our licence server — and any one of those can fail without warning, including while you are in a position.

A stop is not a guaranteed exit price

Gaps, fast markets, thin liquidity, execution latency and slippage can all make a loss larger than the number you set. The price your strategy expected and the price you get will differ.

Automated orders can breach a prop account in a single trade

Funded and evaluation accounts carry rules that an automated system can violate faster than you can react — a daily loss limit, a trailing drawdown, a maximum position size, or a flat-before-the-close deadline. A breach can end the account regardless of whether you were up or down on the day.

Shogun's guards and the session-close built into the bots are there to assist with that. They do not guarantee compliance, they depend on settings you control and on the platform actually running, and meeting your firm's rules remains yours. Read your firm's rulebook; it is the one that decides.

Where the responsibility sits

You are responsible for every order placed in your account. We do not accept liability for trading losses, for missed or duplicated trades, or for an account being suspended, breached, failed or closed — whether that follows from a defect or error in our software, from a failure of a service it depends on, from a configuration you chose, or from the market itself.

Nobody here sees, directs or manages your account, and no order is placed on your behalf without your own setup. We provide tools; the trading decisions and the consequences are yours.

So start on a practice account

Run it on an evaluation or simulated account until you have watched it behave across a full session and you trust what it does. Only trade with money you can afford to lose entirely — and with futures, you can lose more than you put in.

Ask for a place

Tell us what you trade.

Say which firm your accounts are with, what you are running on TradingView, and what you want Shogun to take off your hands.
